Houston Party Rental Store: Weathering the Storm
Houston party rental store, Acme Party & Tent Rental, closed the 2009 year with a bang. Along with Lone Star Sports and Entertainment, Acme helped host the United States Navy Midshipmen as their football team took on the Missouri Tigers. The game pitted the Midshipmen’s classic run offense against the Tigers’ high powered passing attack.
A tailgate party was requested by The United States Navy in order to celebrate the occasion in classic football style. The Acme Party and Tent Staff felt right at home, even though the entire set-up had to be complete by December 30 and disassembled by January 3 for the Texans vs. Patriots game. The Acme party and rental team loves a good challenge, and they sank their teeth into this big Houston event.
The tailgating party consisted of over 4,000 fans, friends, family, and midshipmen. By working through the holidays and into the night on both the setup and takedown, Acme crews completed the job and were ready to begin setting up the Texan’s Budweiser Plaza, Churrasco’s Club, and the Coke Fun Zone on Saturday, January 2.
Despite the winter conditions, the Acme crew pulled off the construction of two 82x350 ft. structural tents, as well as reception tents, cook tents, comfort stations, restrooms, stages, sound, and lighting arrangements. It was truly a memorable event, as the weather broke just in time for a magnificent party for the friends and family of military veterans to enjoy. All in all, the tailgating party was a huge success, and Acme looks forward to supplying the party rental needs for future sporting events.
Teaming with the University of Houston’s Athletics Department, The Houston Texans, and 1560, the game helped spread the word about Acme’s quality of service and excellent party and tent equipment.
